This policy describes how personal data is processed when you visit this Festival Simulator landing page or contact us by email. The site currently provides no user accounts, forms or direct sales.

2. Accessing the website and Cloudflare Workers (static website assets)

When you access the website, technically required connection data is transmitted. This may include your IP address, date and time of access, the requested page or file, browser and device information, and the referring page transmitted by your browser. This data is required to deliver the website, maintain its stability and defend against attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to provide a secure and functional website.

The website is delivered through Cloudflare Workers using static website assets. The service provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare processes connection and, where applicable, security data when delivering the site through its global network. The page code itself does not create separate visitor logs; Cloudflare may process technically necessary connection and security data. Cloudflare retains data according to the periods applicable to each service and the requirements of operations, security and legal obligations. Processing outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the USA, may occur. Cloudflare refers to its certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for transfers to the USA and to Standard Contractual Clauses for other covered transfers. Details are provided in the Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum.

3. Cookies, analytics and embedded content

The website code does not set first-party cookies or use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking. Gameplay images and icons are served locally, and text uses system fonts; no fonts are loaded from third parties. There are no embedded store widgets, videos or tracking pixels. Under the current implementation, no consent banner for non-essential cookies is required under section 25 of the German TDDDG. Security cookies activated through Cloudflare must be assessed separately.

Cloudflare may use security cookies such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance if relevant protective features are activated. Their necessity depends on the service and configuration. See Cloudflare cookie documentation. Before enabling analytics, marketing, third-party embeds or other non-essential access to device storage, consent requirements and this privacy policy must be reviewed.

4. AI-assisted content creation

AI tools have supported the development of Festival Simulator and the creation of texts, graphics and other content on this website. M-SILVER selects and reviews the published content and assumes editorial responsibility. Further information is provided in the AI transparency notice.

Merely visiting this static website does not cause the page code to transmit personal data to AI providers. The site contains no AI chatbot, AI-based visitor analysis, or automated assessment or decision-making concerning visitors.

5. Links to Steam and other stores

The Steam buttons are standard external links. Merely visiting our site does not establish a connection to Steam; the Steam page opens only after you click a link. From that point, the store operator processes data according to its Privacy Policy. The Epic Games notice is currently not linked.

6. Contact by email

If you email us, we process the data you provide, particularly your email address, name, message and any attachments, to handle and answer your enquiry. Depending on its content, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual enquiries or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for general communications. Recipients may include technical service providers used to operate our email service. We delete messages once the enquiry has been completed unless legal retention duties or legitimate reasons require further storage.

7. Storage period and provision of data

The page code does not store user profiles. Technical connection and security data is stored and deleted according to its purpose and the applicable Cloudflare service periods. You do not need to provide personal data to read the site; transmitting technical connection data is unavoidable when retrieving a page. We do not carry out automated decision-making, including profiling.

8. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise your rights, contact fssim@djmsilver.de.

Under Article 77 GDPR, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision is the relevant authority for private-sector organisations in Bavaria.
